to reflect the devastation of losing a child
and the process of healing
through God's love.

so much emotion and comfort.  But when that child is torn out from human grip as a result of death, our emotions are thrown into despair, depression, emptiness and uncontrollable tears. 

We can fall so deep into a dark endless hole and never recover or we can choose to be lifted out of the river of tears and with God's comfort and warmth and feel His light all around us. 

At this point we know only God can comfort us with the knowledge that He holds our child cuddled in His hands and we have to let go.

The pain is still there and will always tug at our emotions.  I learned if I was to heal, I needed to give my tears to God along with my child so that God could continue to work in my life and bring His light on each tear that I shed. 

If God's light is on my tear,
those tears will always shine
with the beauty of the rainbow.
