When traffic would back up or road work was being done, instead of getting angry and frustrated, I wondered why was I always the one that got stuck in traffic. I would be stopped for up to an hour or more so many times for so many reasons. My car broke down so many times . . . up the mountain pass . . . down the pass, in school parking lots and anywhere I seemed to connect.

I never knew a car could break down
 in so many different ways
to only one person.

Not only to the car I was using, but to all the cars that were used in our family. I am always having to take my kids and husband to their jobs and wait for them each to get off at different times.

Home is 30 miles up the pass . . . so I couldn't just run home and do my work and run out when they needed me. I had to park the van in grocery store parking lots and side road places to not over stay my welcome in any one place. Yes . . . I had had it!

I had to make my art gallery and Bible study area in the one vehicle that was still working, the van. Several times it completely died on me also.

I began to look forward to these interruptions.
It meant time to study longer.

Life changes
when you look at your interruptions
 as opportunities.
