Add on top of the tea:
2 Limes, quartered and squeezed
In sauce pan, bring to a boil:
Pour the boiling mixture over the tea and limes. Cover the jar and steep tea for a minimum of 2 and maximum of 24 hours. Strain the tea. (Note: if using a
glass jar, pour slowly allowing the jar to adjust to the temperature change)
Add to the tea mixture:
Stir well and taste. Add additional honey if desired. Serve over ice with a twist of lime. Garnish edge of glass with lime slice.
Yields 3 1/2 quarts, serves 12.
