The Old Pond

Julie was inspired to paint an old fashioned quiet winter scene from a little church and lake that are on the way to her home high in the Colorado mountains.

"Many nights I've had to drive the mountain pass when the snow is so thick, so beautiful, and glimmering in the moonlight and light from warmly lit windows."

Her mind goes back in time as she creates an old fashioned winter scene which brings childhood memories to many of us.
